A professional translation is more than a “word-for-word transliteration”. Translating correctly and with precise terminology – this is our fundamental aspiration.

We offer translation of general and specialised texts, including stylistic and pre-print corrections, without surcharges for specialised texts. In addition, we process complex translation projects in several languages simultaneously.

Native speakers smoothen linguistic cultural differences while translating – the effect on the reader intended by the author is therefore maintained.

Traduko s.r.o. was founded in 2005 as an agency that specialises in technical translations and is established as a reliable partner, mainly on the German market. The managing director, Jens U. Klein, PhD, born 1968 in Berlin (Germany), graduated in biochemistry from the Science Faculty of Charles University in Prague and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He has been involved with professional translation since 1997.

Our translations are graphically processed using common MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FrontPage) and FrameMaker. Perfect service and absolute confidentiality are a top priority for us. To ensure the highest degree of security, we send files by email according to customer requirements, also encoded (e.g. AxCryptum).

For specialised translations, we use common CAT tools such as SDL Trados (CAT = computer-assisted translation).

Work with a CAT tool generates data bases with structured translations (translation memory systems). The databases that are generated in this way have a uniform terminology that can be used for all subsequent translations ensuring higher translation quality and terminological consistency; it also lowers costs. The data base is also available to the customer without restrictions.

In ongoing projects, it is possible to implement translation memory systems and terminology databases provided beforehand by the customer.
